The Bio-Mat is not just any ordinary heating pad that warms the body and soothes sore muscles. Unlike a warming pad, the Mat does not get hot when it is turned on; however, when you lay on it, it warms the inside of your body as well as the outside of your body that makes direct contact with the Mat.
You can easily adjust the Mat temperature with an external Controller that converts AC to DC through a computerized control panel, produced by Texas Instruments, into Far Infrared Rays (FIR), nature's invisible light. FIR was discovered by NASA to be the safest, most beneficial light wave. This reduces swelling, increases blood flow, and has been shown to destroy cancer and viral cells without harming surrounding healthy cells. FIR penetrates 6-8 inches into the body, thereby stimulating healing and regeneration of nerves and muscle tissue layers.
